Your privacy is important to us. Learn how we collect, use, store, protect and manage personal data.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Help It Rain website and platform, including the domain https://www.helpitrain.com, the mobile version of the platform, and applicable mobile applications operated or provided by Piana IT Solutions Private Limited ("Piana", "Company", "we", "us" or "our").
The platform may also provide services through related applications and domains operated as part of the Gracelist platform ecosystem. Where another application or organisation has its own privacy notice, that notice may also apply to the relevant processing.
Piana IT Solutions Private Limited is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data processed through Help It Rain. This Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be collected, used, stored, shared and protected when you use the platform and related services.
We aim to collect and process personal data only where it is necessary for a specified purpose and in accordance with applicable law.
Where processing is based on your consent, consent will be requested through a clear affirmative action for the relevant purpose. Use of the platform does not by itself constitute consent to every type of processing described in this policy.
Where processing is carried out on another applicable legal basis, we will not represent consent as the basis for that processing.
The GracelistApp is a unified service operated by Piana IT Solutions Private Limited. Certain platform functionality may be available across related domains and applications.
Processing may vary depending on the service, programme, organisation and feature being used. The applicable privacy notice and the purpose communicated at the point of collection will govern the relevant processing.
We collect and process personal data when you create or use an account, register for events or programmes, submit information through forms, interact with platform features, or otherwise provide information through the platform.
Some events, programmes or forms may provide optional fields relating to demographic information, such as race, ethnicity or gender. These fields should only be provided where you choose to provide the information and where the relevant programme or form has a defined purpose for collecting it.
Where such information is collected, it will be processed only for the purpose communicated at the point of collection and in accordance with applicable requirements.
We may automatically collect certain technical and activity information when you use the platform. This information helps us operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Information about your interaction with Help It Rain, including events, programmes, projects, pages and features that you search, view or use.
Information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device-related information and other technical information generated when the platform is accessed.
Personal data may be used for the following purposes, depending on the service, event, programme or feature involved:
Providing platform services, event and programme functionality, and responding to service-related enquiries.
Managing registrations, participation, projects and other programme-related activities.
Collecting and processing information submitted through forms and programme workflows for the stated purpose.
Protecting accounts and services, detecting misuse and maintaining platform security.
Supporting authorised organisational, project and programme workflows.
Maintaining, troubleshooting and improving platform functionality, subject to applicable requirements.
Personal data collected for a specific event, programme or purpose will not be used for an unrelated purpose merely because the data is available on the platform. Where a new purpose requires a different legal basis or consent, the appropriate notice or consent process will be provided.
Organisations using Help It Rain or related Gracelist services may collect information through forms, registrations, surveys, programme activities and other data-collection workflows.
Depending on the programme, this information may relate to participants, beneficiaries or other individuals. The organisation collecting the information is responsible for determining the purpose of that collection and ensuring that the collection and use are appropriately authorised.
Where Help It Rain or Gracelist processes information on behalf of an organisation as part of that organisation's programme, project or data-collection activity, the processing will be carried out according to the applicable instructions, configuration and authorised purpose of that organisation.
Individuals providing information through a form, registration or survey should receive the relevant privacy information at or before collection, as applicable. Programme-specific notices may apply in addition to this general Privacy Policy.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the relevant service, to comply with applicable legal or contractual requirements, to resolve disputes, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, the purpose of processing, the event or programme involved, the organisation involved and applicable legal or operational requirements.
When personal data is no longer required for the applicable purpose and there is no legal or other valid reason to retain it, it should be deleted, anonymised or otherwise disposed of in accordance with applicable retention and deletion procedures.
Subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights concerning your personal data, including:
Request information about personal data processed about you and the applicable processing.
Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Request deletion of personal data where applicable and subject to lawful retention requirements.
Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Raise a concern or grievance regarding the processing of your personal data.
You may contact us using the privacy contact details provided at the end of this policy. We may need to verify your identity or account information before processing a request.
Requests will be handled according to applicable law and the nature of the data and processing involved.
Where we rely on consent to process personal data, consent will be requested for the relevant purpose through a clear affirmative action. The information provided at the point of collection will explain the relevant purpose and other information required by applicable law.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Where another lawful basis permits continued processing, or where retention or processing is required by law, the applicable processing may continue to the extent permitted or required.
Where appropriate, consent records may include information such as the purpose, date and time of consent, the applicable notice or version, and the relevant account, form or programme context.
Where applicable, information transmitted through the platform is protected using security measures such as HTTPS/TLS. Payment information, where handled through third-party payment services, may be subject to the security practices of the relevant payment provider.
Technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. Security controls may include access controls, authentication, logging, infrastructure protections and other measures appropriate to the processing.
Help It Rain integrates with GracelistApp to provide selected platform functionality, including functionality that may allow authorised users to connect and publish content to their Facebook Pages and obtain related analytics.
Use of these features may require access to information or permissions provided by Facebook. The relevant permissions and information required for the integration will depend on the feature being used.
Facebook-related platform information processed through the GracelistApp integration may include Page Access Tokens, Page IDs and related connection information. Such information is processed for the operation of the authorised integration and is subject to the applicable platform and privacy requirements.
The following procedures relate specifically to Facebook Platform Data and Facebook/GracelistApp permissions. They are separate from the general privacy rights and data-request process described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
You may request deletion of Facebook Platform Data stored by GracelistApp by contacting us:
You may also use the Facebook account settings provided by Meta to remove the GracelistApp integration and request deletion of authorised application data.
Facebook's interface and available options may change over time. Follow the current instructions displayed by Facebook.
If you wish to stop the GracelistApp from accessing or posting to a connected Facebook Page without necessarily requesting deletion of unrelated account information, you may use the Disconnect option in the Social Accounts section where that functionality is available.
Disconnecting a social account is specific to the Facebook integration and should not be treated as withdrawal of all consent or as a request to delete all personal data held by the platform.
Organisations may use the platform for project collaboration, programme management, document management, compliance activities and related workflows. This may involve processing organisational information, documents, certificates, financial information and personal data contained within submitted records.
Depending on the particular processing activity, Piana IT Solutions Private Limited and the organisation using the platform may have different responsibilities under applicable data protection law. Where Piana processes personal data on behalf of an organisation, the processing will be carried out according to the applicable instructions and authorised purposes of that organisation.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not independently verify the authenticity, accuracy or completeness of documents uploaded by users or organisations. Responsibility for the accuracy and authenticity of submitted organisational records rests with the relevant submitting party.
